Refund & Exchange Policy

As a valued customer of Wandering Tribe, we would like to thank you for your purchase. At Wandering Tribe, we pride ourselves on our carefully curated pieces and hand made designs.


In the instance that you may need to return one of your items, the following terms and conditions apply to all purchases made online at wanderingtribe.com.au

Full Price Items

Full priced items purchased online are eligible for an exchange. Refunds are only available if the item is deemed faulty.

Sale Items

The purchase of sale items is final. We do not offer exchanges or refunds on any sale items purchased unless deemed faulty. 

Conditions of Return

Please ensure the below conditions are met, before submitting your return request:
— The goods are returned to, and received by, our team within 7 days of receiving order. 
— Item(s) must be in perfect condition and must not have been worn, altered, damaged or washed.  
— Item(s) must be in original packaging with any/all tags attached, including dust bags. 
— Gift cards cannot be returned

Wandering Tribe reserves the right to reject returns that do not comply with this policy.

Returns & Refunds of Faulty Items 

In the unfortunate event you receive a faulty item, please follow the instructions below.

Once your return is received by us, the item(s) will be assessed to ensure it complies with our policy and a return outcome will be determined within 5 business days. Your refund will be reversed to your original payment method. Successful returns can take up to 5-10 business days to appear in your account due to varying processing between payment providers. In the event of an unsuccessful return outcome, a member of our team will contact you. 

Please note, items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear or incorrect garment care are not considered to be faulty. If you have a faulty item(s) please contact hayley@wanderingtribe.com.au for further assistance. 

Exchanges 

We can offer an exchange if you want to swap your item for a different piece of equal value of your original purchase. Exchanges are subject to  availability once your return is received by our team. If we are unable to fulfil your request, we will be touch via  email or phone. Please note: All postage costs involved in an exchange are the responsibility of the purchaser. 

Returns & Exchanges Process

1. Submit a Return
Please email hayley@wanderingtribe.com.au within 3 days of receiving your item and include the following: 

- Original order number 

- Reason for the return or exchange 

- Photo/s of the faulty item or item you are wishing to exchange 

2. Wait for your Response Email 
An email will be sent in response to your request with a RETURN NUMBER within. This number must be included with your items when returning. Further instructions depending on your situation will also be provided in the email. 

3. Pack Your Return
Place the item(s) in the original shipping packaging, together with your RETURN NUMBER and return to us via post within 7 days of receiving the item.

Cancellations & Amendments 

If you have changed your mind or ordered an incorrect item and would like to amend an order, please contact hayley@wanderingtribe.com.au as soon as possible. We reserve the right to refuse amendments based on current stock levels or peak turnaround times for orders. Please note, orders which have already been shipped cannot be amended. 

We do not allow order cancellations on pre-order items so please choose carefully. 

All sales are final and are not able to be cancelled. 

Returns Lost in Transit

Wandering Tribe are not liable for the loss or damage of items in return transit. We recommend sending the item via a traceable delivery method and keep record of your tracking number. Please note original shipping charges are non-refundable and charges for returned items are responsibility of the customer. 

 

Returns and exchange policy is in accordance with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and the Department of Fair Trading.
